Key Issues and Priorities
Housing
I believe Cambridge can add new housing in ways that are thoughtful, well-designed, and respectful of our neighborhoods. I support policies that expand access to affordable housing while preserving our open spaces and community character. I’m focused on solutions that meet the real needs of residents, especially those with low and moderate incomes. Click here for more.
Urban Planning
Smart planning is essential to a livable city. I advocate for careful, community-informed zoning changes and support moderate building heights in residential areas to maintain a human scale and neighborhood integrity. Most new development should be smart growth, along major corridors and in squares, close to MBTA nodes and routes.
Biking & Transportation
Safe, accessible transportation is critical to our future. I support the creation of a well-connected network of separated bike lanes that work for everyone—cyclists, older adults, pedestrians, and local businesses. I’ll continue to work with residents and City staff to ensure our streets are safer and more welcoming for all and those that who must drive can park. Click here for more.
Community Engagement
I believe community input should guide decision-making. I’ve spent decades bringing people together through local boards, nonprofits, and grassroots events. I want public meetings to be meaningful opportunities for real dialogue and collaboration—not just formalities.

Environment and Preservation
I’m committed to protecting Cambridge’s trees, parks, and green spaces. I also strongly support the Cambridge Historical Commission’s role in preserving our city’s architectural heritage, which gives our neighborhoods their unique sense of place.
Economic & Infrastructure Responsibility
Growth should not come at the expense of current residents. I’m concerned about the long-term financial impact of large-scale development and want to ensure our infrastructure can support what we build without overburdening taxpayers. During this period of economic uncertainty, we need to evaluate existing programs and reallocate resources, as needed, to fund initiatives that best reflect our priorities. Click here for more.

My Governing Philosophy
I support balanced, community-centered growth—growth that makes room for new neighbors without displacing longtime residents or sacrificing what makes Cambridge special. I bring people together, listen carefully, and lead with care, integrity, and vision.
